The Virginia Craft Brewer’s Festival has a new home: Charlottesville.
What’s been the largest beer festival in the state for the past few years is leaving Devils Backbone Brewing Company and moving to the IX Art Park in downtown Charlottesville, according to a press release from the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild. This year’s shindig is set for Aug. 19.
Three Notch’d Brewing and IX Art Park won a competitive proposal process to host the event on 17 acres blocks from downtown.
The festival is also where the state’s brewers walk away with accolades for their beers and the coveted beer cup.
Tickets go on sale June 1 at www.vacraftbrewersfest.com.
