Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group Raises More Than $11,000 For a Cause
Virginia Beach, Va. (March 30, 2017) – On March 23rd, more than 200 people gathered at Eagle’s Nest Virginia Beach to raise a pint for a worthy cause. This year, AB Cares, the philanthropic arm of Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, raised more than $11,000 to help find a cure for MS during the 5th annual Pints for a Purpose night.
Atlantic Bay is celebrating 20 years of business in 2017 and has been supporting the MS Society since the company’s inception. As a National Multiple Sclerosis Society Chairman’s Circle Member, Atlantic Bay has raised more than $1 million dollars for the MS Society since 1999.
“We are truly blown away by the support shown at this year’s Pints for a Purpose night,” said AB Cares Director, Tiffany Tyler. “Our main goal is to support the MS Society’s mission of one day having a world free of MS and we are excited to continue the Pints for a Purpose tradition for years to come.”
Pints for a Purpose attendees enjoyed a fun night full of music, food and pints of drinks. During the evening, there were raffles, giveaways and even an electronic bull riding competition all for a great cause. Atlantic Bay will continue to support the MS Society by participating in the MS walk in Hampton Roads on April 9th.
“We are so proud to partner with Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group again as the Virginia state sponsor for Walk MS,” said Clare Lorio, Development Manager for Walk MS. “I was honored to be part of their Pints for a Purpose event and to see Atlantic Bay exceed their goal of $10,000. This level of engagement will help the MS Society get one step closer to a 2017 fundraising goal of $45 million dollars across the country, which will support research for a cure as well as local individuals who are impacted by MS.”
Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group is committed to continue to raise awareness and funds to support the MS Society. For more details and information about Atlantic Bay and AB Cares, please visit http://atlanticbay.com/ or http://atlanticbay.com/abcares/.
